Fusion 360 Materials

We had to render 3 material combinations for the 3D shapes of our initials

Design 1

Cherry wood & aluminium

I particularly like this design as it has a nice contrast of the natural wood surface and the reflective aluminium ends of the shape. It emulates my own tastes in architectural design, clean and modern but with an organic element.

Design 2

White, black, yellow & red plastic

This design was created to reflect my identity as a UNSW student. It incorporates the colours of the university. I chose plastic as the core element as its a vibrant and easy to work with material which could easily be used to create such a diverse colour palate.

Design 3

Blue glass & copper

The third design is by far the most experimental, with glass on the top half and a copper on the bottom. It expresses my appreciation for modernity and communicates my willingness to explore unusual concepts. Perhaps not the best looking design here, but interesting nevertheless.
